The merest hint of a new Nikon camera and I'm champing at the bit. Here's what I know, plus a few Nikon fanboy predictions
Nikon has recently registered a new camera model, the Zf, in China, sparking speculation about its imminent release. The Zf is believed to be a full-frame mirrorless camera that combines a retro design reminiscent of the classic Nikon FM2 with modern technology, including a 45.7-megapixel sensor similar to the one found in the Nikon Z7 II. Expected features include in-body image stabilization, a vari-angle touchscreen, and the ability to shoot 4K video. While Nikon has not officially announced the camera, the registration suggests that an announcement could be made soon, possibly aligning with the upcoming Photokina event in May 2024.
