Hiker from New Hampshire dies in fall on Pikes Peak in Colorado

A hiker from New Hampshire, identified as 64-year-old Robert “Bob” Martin, died while hiking Pikes Peak in Colorado on June 15, 2024. Martin, an experienced hiker, was found unresponsive on the mountain and could not be revived despite efforts by emergency responders. He was part of a group of hikers from New Hampshire, and the incident occurred around 1 p.m. The cause of death has not been officially determined, but it is believed to be related to a medical emergency. Martin was remembered by friends and family as a passionate hiker and a beloved member of his community.
