If party vehicles pass through certain areas, they'll have to maintain a "loudness" level under 85 decibels.

On June 13, 2025, the Nashville Metropolitan Council approved new regulations for party vehicles, aiming to enhance safety and reduce disturbances. The new rules mandate that all party vehicles must be equipped with GPS tracking devices and surveillance cameras, and operators must undergo background checks. Additionally, the vehicles are now subject to noise restrictions and designated operating hours, with a curfew set at 11 p.m. on weekdays and midnight on weekends. The council hopes these regulations will balance the economic benefits of party vehicles with the quality of life for Nashville residents.
