A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of New Hampshire on Saturday.

On May 17, 2024, a severe thunderstorm watch was issued for parts of New Hampshire, including Cheshire, Coos, Grafton, and Sullivan counties, effective until 8 p.m. The National Weather Service warned of potential wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter. The storms were expected to move eastward at 35 mph, with the possibility of isolated tornadoes.
