A recent graduate of Morris Jeff High School won a new car for perfect attendance.

A New Orleans high school senior, Cayden Brown, won a new car for having perfect attendance throughout his high school years, as part of a program by United Way of Southeast Louisiana and Group 1 Automotive to boost student attendance. The initiative, which started in 2017, has successfully increased attendance rates from 75% to 85% in participating schools. Brown, who will attend Southern University in the fall, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and the impact of the program on his life, emphasizing the importance of showing up every day.
