April 7, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 2371 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1964 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3380 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. WAL-MART STORES INC (NYSE:WMT), KRAFT FOODS INC-CLASS A (NYSE:KFT), MICROSOFT CORP (NASDAQ:MSFT), XENOPORT INC (NASDAQ:XNPT), ELITE PHARMACEUTICALS INC (OTC:ELTP), SPDR S&P RETAIL ETF (NYSE:XRT). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     WMT $0.020 0.04% 6,316,885 51.86% 4,403,091 36.15% 1,913,794 956,897
     KFT $0.030 0.09% 4,690,461 57.43% 2,888,492 35.37% 1,801,969 600,656
     MSFT $0.050 0.19% 27,217,023 59.00% 21,132,999 45.81% 6,084,024 1,216,805
     XNPT $3.480 54.55% 13,981,637 53.75% 11,132,381 42.80% 2,849,256 8,188
     ELTP $0.016 20.81% 13,456,695 55.75% 10,661,886 44.17% 2,794,809 1,803,103
     XRT $0.360 0.69% 9,509,927 60.95% 7,171,213 45.96% 2,338,714 64,964
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows WMT with a Net Buy Volume of 1,913,794 shares and a Friction Factor of 956,897 shares. That means that it takes 956,897 more shares of buying than selling to move WMT higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
