MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - October 28, 2009) - Alternet Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: [ ALYI ]) is scheduled to release an on-demand, strategic update Webcast presentation tomorrow to review the Company's acquisition and sales pipeline in China, Africa, Latin America and North America. Alternet has already announced partnerships to penetrate markets in Asia and Africa, in addition to its current base of sales in Central and South America.

Alternet plans to build a portfolio of mobile payment software solutions through the acquisition of strategic mobile services system integrators and solution developers. The primary sales targets for Alternet's mobile payment solutions will be concentrated within developing economic regions. Currently, Alternet representatives are participating in the previously announced Trade Mission to Kenya expand the Company's mobile payment and m-commerce technology solutions for the East African market.
