Santos, the most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL's most treacherous kicking venue, spent part of his offseason accidentally working on distance because of a quirk of the practice field he used in Florida.
Santos' path to Chicago was anything but straightforward. Born in Brazil and initially drawn to American football through an exchange program in Florida, he entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014.
