Anna Eberspacher was a competitive swimmer in high school when she was diagnosed with a rare, one-in-a-million type of cancer in her knee. She underwent chemo and radiation but the treatments failed, and she had to have her leg amputated. Through it all, she kept swimming. She is now studying to be a nurse.

At the age of 15, Texas teen swimmer Luke Slabber faced a life-altering challenge when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, leading to the amputation of his left leg. Despite this, Luke has maintained a positive outlook and his sense of humor, often joking about his situation and even creating a bucket list that includes humorous goals like "get a peg leg." His family and friends have been supportive, with his mother, father, and younger brother all rallying around him. Luke's story has inspired many, and he continues to swim and engage in physical activities, demonstrating resilience and a strong spirit in the face of adversity.
