Hundreds of Canadian campers have made reservations at New Hampshire state parks for the upcoming camping season, following a change in New Hampshire's law that now allows out-of-state residents to book campsites 30 days in advance, rather than the previous seven days. This adjustment was made to accommodate the high demand from Canadian visitors, particularly from Quebec, who have historically contributed significantly to the state's camping revenue. The New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation reported that as of a recent count, 368 camping reservations were made by Canadian visitors, with many more expected as the season approaches.
