A new LGBTQ venue named "The Park" is set to open in downtown Orlando, Florida, aiming to provide a safe and inclusive space for the community. The venue, which will feature a restaurant, bar, and event space, is being developed by a group of local business owners and activists who saw a need for more dedicated spaces for the LGBTQ community in the area. The Park is expected to open its doors in early 2024 and will host various events, including drag shows, live music, and community gatherings, to foster a sense of belonging and support for the local LGBTQ population.
