BOSTON (Reuters) -A federal judge ordered the Trump administration on Friday to restore articles by doctors and medical researchers that were removed from a government-run website focused on patient safety because they contained references to transgender people. U.S. District Judge Leo Sorokin in Boston sided with two doctors at Harvard Medical School whose patient-safety were scrubbed from the website after Republican President Donald Trump signed an executive order requiring agencies to remove all statements and policies promoting "gender ideology." The had been published on the Patient Safety Network (PSNet), an online patient safety resource.

The Trump administration has been ordered by a federal judge to restore the Affordable Care Act's (ACA) health insurance protections for people with preexisting conditions, following a lawsuit filed by several states and the District of Columbia. The ruling mandates the administration to enforce the ACA's risk adjustment program, which helps stabilize insurance markets by compensating insurers who take on higher-risk customers. This decision comes after the administration attempted to alter the program, which critics argued would lead to higher premiums and reduced coverage for those with preexisting conditions. The judge's order aims to maintain the ACA's protections as originally intended, ensuring that individuals with preexisting health issues can access affordable health insurance.
